Best Honeymoon Destination
While it's of course a subject of choice, I believe that the best honeymoon destination on this planet is Maui the second largest island of romantic Hawaii. I'm definitely not the only person that thinks Maui is the best honeymoon destination, as this is a good reason for so many people to go there and is huge part of their tourism publicity is aimed at newly weds or young couples.
The best honeymoon destinations are somewhere you can unwind and take pleasure in each others company with not having to rush around all day and sight see. Going to some historical rich overseas country may appear romantic, but it can be difficult to justify laying about together in the hotel room when outside there's so many world renowned sights to see only a few miles away that you might never have the chance to see it again. That's why I believe Maui is the best honeymoon destination.
Not that there isn't something to see in Maui, quite the opposite, Maui is filled with its own interesting sights and culture. Though, the sights to visit in Maui are the views of the island itself. Only staying on a beach with each other would be the comparable to sight seeing, as you're on one of the finest and most beautiful beaches in the world.
When you want to take a break from lazing about, there are some truly fantastic small Hawaiian towns to discover, and some really great natural scenes to visit. None of this feels like the type of fast paced and hurried sight seeing you would do in a different country. Even when you are in Hawaii, it's a different country to you, it doesn't actually matter if you go to Maui as it isn't in anyway like a historic representation of the United States. Maui still feels and looks much like it possibly did before it was part of the United States. and it's this romantic appeal together with its calm nature which makes this the best honeymoon destination.
The more popular island of Oahu will certainly be more touristy, with a lot of sights to dash around to and has large city to be visited. Oahu can be reached in only two hours from Maui, so that you can quite easily visit both if you can't choose. As for myself when I get married, I will have my honeymoon in Maul I feel I'd rather spend the entire time on there. It's just the right blend of things you can do, marvelous and exotic sights to take in, and excuses to laze about and chill, Maui is clearly the best honeymoon destination on earth in my books.
