Cancun Spring Break
Why not try a Cancun spring break? After all, it is one of, if not the favorite spring break location for Americans. It's near, inexpensive, warm, and enjoyable, and it is surrounded by the clear blue waters of the Caribbean, could it get at all better than this? When I stop to think of a spring break, I think of a trip to a warm location, ideally with a beach, plenty of sun, amusement, food, and drink. Are you with me? Spring time generally occurs in the third or fourth week of March, and many of us, whether students or not, are ready for a break from our every day routines, and in some areas of the state, from the coldness and snow.
Cancun is certainly a tropical heaven full of ancient Mayan culture, where the days are warm and clear, and the nights cool and fresh. Good cuisine and entertainment are plentiful in Cancun, hosting some of the most well known clubs on earth, such as Senor Frog's. Cancun Mexico is situated on the tip of the Yucatan Peninsula with an plenty of white sandy beaches and warm beautiful blue sea. A passport or birth certificate and photo id are required to enter the country and all travelers have to go through customs when entering and departure. Most of the service employees are bilingual, so there is not an pressing necessity to turn fluent in Spanish, although it does help. Dollars are accepted, as well as credit cards, and there are currency exchanges located all over Cancun, but bear in mind that rates may differ slightly from location to location. The form of transport most frequently used is bus and taxi, which are very acceptable, and of course, you can always rent a car, though this is not normally needed to go on even a long excursion.
Since spring time is a very popular time of year to travel, and you can spend as much or as little as you'd like. There is quite a large choice of hotels in other areas with a variety of facilities too. There is the Cancun party zone that caters mostly to singles and younger people, sensibly priced hotels that present family accommodations and activities, and more upscale lodging for those who wish to vacate in tropical extravagance. There is no doubt that you can plan your Cancun holiday just the way you like it, and inside your budget.
There are many sight seeing opportunities and that are near by or less than a day's journey round trip, and can be reserved as part of your Cancun spring break package or not, it's up to you. If you have never been to Cancun, spring time is the time to see it at its liveliest, it's one of my favorite destinations ever!
