Spring Break
Spring break is that superb time of year when students of all ages and their teachers get that most wanted break from all those education activities preparing them for living as responsible adults. Spring break also allows the parents of younger students a break as well, and gives them a reason to plan a vacation away from the usual day to day slog. It gives college students a reason to break away from their usual tasks as well go to some colorful place where they can lose all their inhibitions. (We've all seen those advertisements for "Girls Gone Wild"!!)
Spring break generally occurs either the third or fourth week of March, and sometimes even the first week of April. This is the time of year when all those living things that have been dormant for the winter months, start to rejuvenate from increased sunshine and warmer temperatures. This principle does not just apply to plants and insects, it applies to humans too. Except if you live in Hawaii, most areas in the United States go through either a gentle or drastic change of seasons, leaving all of us prepared for the green grass, flowers, and fresh smelling spring rains that bring the lot back to life. Particularly in the northern most states, all that snowfall and cold, and the additional tasks that come with it get kind of repetitive after a short time. If it's a realistic possibility, why wouldn't you desire to get away?
There are many options for how to spend your break. It depends on a bunch of different variables; time, cash, and resources being the most important. If you haven't got all three it just isn't going to happen. Once you do, you have to choose where you like to go and what you want to do. Perhaps you don't desire to go anywhere, possibly you just like to spend a week at home catching up on all those things you never have time to do. That may not be everyone's cup of tea, but of course, it an choice, and that's why we are called individuals. Anything you settle on to do, I'm confident you will have a great time spring break. You may just choose to put the kids in daycare and save your break for another time, it's all up to you. You can just sit back and watch clips on the news, MTV, and the Entertainment channel of everybody else having a fine time! Or not!
